OUR STORY

Skull Bracket started in 2011 with a problem I couldn’t ignore: the skull hangers I found weren’t built to hold a heavy mule deer or elk mount with confidence. Too many were made from thin, bent sheet metal. Others were expensive, flimsy, or made overseas.

So I went into my garage in Laramie, Wyoming, and built my own. I used American steel because I wanted to know exactly what went into every bracket—and make one strong enough to trust with the mounts I’d worked hard to bring home.

What began as a solution for my own wall grew into Skull Bracket. Over the years, we’ve improved our designs and added models for different skulls, from whitetail and antelope to elk, moose, bison, bear, and more.

The idea is still simple: make a strong, secure skull mount in America, and make it easy to display the hunt you’ll always remember.
